East Northrise
Based on information from the Southern New Mexico Multiple Listing Service as of November 3, 2026.
East Northrise is on the East Mesa, named for Northrise Drive, which runs east from the center of the city toward the mountains. It borders Sonoma Ranch, and several of its subdivisions are sections of that planned community.
The homes here are newer and larger than the Las Cruces average. Most were built from 2005 on, in subdivisions such as The Pueblos at Alameda Ranch, White Sage at Sonoma Ranch and Mesa Grande Estates. A typical home has three or four bedrooms and around 2,200 square feet, on a lot of about a quarter of an acre.
Prices are in the upper part of the Las Cruces market. Most homes are offered between about $350,000 and $550,000, and the largest go above $500,000.
About half of the homes are in a homeowner association, and rules and dues differ by subdivision.
The area looks east to the Organ Mountains. Shopping along Sonoma Ranch Boulevard and Telshor Boulevard is close, and US 70 and Interstate 25 are a few minutes away.
